SWAP.org (Study and Work Pay Organization)
This tax-exempt, not-for-profit program was started by Joseph Brock when he was in the 11th grade as a club. Now it is a growing organization.  Joseph is currently attending Loyola University. The basis of the program is that if students Study And Work hard it will Pay off...this is slowly catching on and lighting fire in the lives of our young people.  SWAP is in need of computer software, IBM compatible, that can help high school students with Math, English and Science, and Social Studies. Office supplies, such as round tables and chairs, ink pens, paper and pencils would be a big help. Also, in order to expose their  members to college materials, they are in need of any first year college books.  See their website for details or call (504) 566-7297.
